Hi, I’m Emily — lifelong book lover, library matchmaker, and the Assistant Director here at Jackson County Public Library. While I do wear many hats in my day-to-day role, nothing brings me more joy than helping someone discover their next favorite read.

Whether it’s tracking down a long-lost title, curating lists for every mood and interest, or recommending that perfect book a patron didn’t even know they were looking for — connecting people with stories is my favorite part of the job. I believe there’s a book for everyone, and sometimes it just takes a little digging (and maybe a cup of coffee) to find it.
