You may visit the library or go to our card catalog and follow the prompts from there.
Please bring your picture ID if you come in person.
You can check out 20 books for 2 weeks at a time and you can renew those check-outs up to 2 times for a total of 6 weeks check out. You must call the library or stop by to renew the books or fines will accrue to your account.
Your username is your JPCL Library Card Number located on the back of the card. Your password is the last 4 digits of that library card number
You can renew by calling the library at 606-287-8113 or by visiting our Card Catalog and logging into your library account.
We are a fine free library! We use alternative methods to encourage the timely return of materials, such as sending reminders or suspending borrowing privileges until items are returned. If items are lost or damaged a fee will incure to replace the item.
You may check-out 4 movies and 2 games per household. Movies and games are checked out for 7 days at a time.
Computers prints and copies are $0.20 per sheet.
Public WiFi is available to the public 24/7.

We do have fax services available. Faxing is free if sent locally. For long distance fax, a charge of $1.00 per page. To receive a fax, it is $0.20 per sheet.
With your JCPL Library Card, you can download the LIBBY app to your phone or reading device. Follow the in-app prompts to set-up your account to enjoy this service. Your last 4 digits of your library card is the password.
If your JCPLibrary account has any fines accrued, this service will not allow you to use the ebooks until your JCPLibrary account has been managed. Please contact JCPLibrary to fix this problem if this occurs.
