From banjos to bass drums, join us as the rhythm of Appalachia rolls through the streets of McKee! Celebrate our community’s heritage with a parade that hits all the right notes.

Parade Day – Saturday, August 30th

 Pre-Parade Classic Car Cruise
 Time: 12:15 PM
 Location: Downtown McKee
Start your engines and show off your vintage ride! Classic cars will cruise Main Street before joining the parade lineup.

 Time: 11:00 AM
 Location: PRTC Distribution Center on McCammon Ridge Road (on the right, just past the Little League Field)

 Parade Kickoff
 Start Time: 1:00 PM
 Starting Point: Old Board of Education Building (now McKee City Hall)

$500 awarded to the best float in each category:
 Church or Civic Group
 Schools
 Businesses
 Best of the Rest

 Great viewing spots all along the route!
But the best seat in the house is at the Jackson County Courthouse, where you’ll catch Grand Marshal interviews, live commentary, and a few surprises you won’t want to miss!
