"The Invisible String" is a touching and uplifting story that reassures children that they are always connected to their loved ones, no matter the distance. It has become a cherished resource for parents, educators, and counselors to help young hearts heal.
Jackson County Public Library, in partnership with Lakes Funeral Home, is proud to announce a new initiative aimed at supporting elementary-aged children who have experienced loss. Starting this summer, we will be providing free copies of the beloved book "The Invisible String" by Patrice Karst to children affected by grief.
How to Participate:
These books will be distributed to children by the Lakes Funeral Home during funeral arrangments.
You may also visit the Jackson County Public Library and request a free copy of "The Invisible String" at the front desk.
We believe in the power of stories to heal and connect, and we hope this program will provide a source of comfort and strength to our young community members.
